What began in 2019 as a Facebook community to help women connect and promote their businesses has evolved into one of Kenya's most recognised women's business communities, with more than 45,000 members built entirely through trust, word-of-mouth, and authentic community engagement. Driven by a passion for creating opportunities where they are needed most, Lauren has spent the past seven years listening to thousands of women entrepreneurs, understanding their challenges and developing practical solutions that help them build sustainable businesses around the realities of everyday life. This philosophy has shaped every stage of the MomBoss journey and inspired the creation of MomBoss Universe, an innovative digital ecosystem designed to take women beyond community and into commerce.
