With over nine years of experience in gold exploration and deposit modeling in Egypt’s Eastern Desert, Tarek has built a strong reputation through his work with Shalaten Mineral Resources Company and Gold Pyramids Group. He currently serves as a Senior Exploration Geologist at SMRC, where he focuses on advancing gold exploration projects in Egypt. Tarek’s academic background includes a Master’s thesis on the Sukari Gold Mine, titled “The Sukari Neoproterozoic Granitoids, Eastern Desert, Egypt: Petrological and Structural Implications.” His expertise is backed by a combination of extensive fieldwork, research, and applied geochemistry, making him a key contributor to the region’s mineral exploration efforts.
