Philipp Riehl obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Materials’ Science and Technology (M. Sc.) at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, Germany. He has several years of experience as a development engineer in the optical and biometric industry.
Riehl is co-inventor of various patents for biometric contact-based and contactless fingerprint systems.
He worked particularly in the areas of coating, optical bonding, and material characterization.
