Lilly Schmidt is a researcher at the Digitial Society Institute (DSI) at ESMT Berlin and is the program lead of the accompanying research for the innovation and research project “Showcase Secure Digital Identities”. Her research focuses on technology policy and law with a focus on digital identity management in Germany and Europe. In addition, her research focuses on cyber security, cyber diplomacy, and digital community building. Before her time at ESMT, she worked at a public sector consulting firm and advised federal ministries on the digitalization of their public services (OZG).
