Ryan Williams, Program Specialist, Identity Management, AAMVA

Ryan Williams began his career in Identity Management with the Utah Department of Public Safety - Driver License Division. He started as a licensing examiner and held several positions in the Division including Administrative Hearing Officer and Manager for the Commercial Driver Licensing, Medical, Quality Assurance and IT Programs. Here he was the Project Manager for many modernization projects such as Kiosk and testing, Online applications and scheduling, tablet testing, and Utah’s Mobile Driver License. Ryan served as the Vice Chair and Chair of the AAMVA Card Design Standards Committee, as the Identity representative for the Driver Standing Committee, and is a 2023 graduate of the AAMVA Leadership Academy. Ryan is currently a Program Specialist for the Identity Management team at AAMVA and is the Staff Project Manager for the eID Subcommittee and the Facial Recognition Working Group.
