David DiMolfetta, Reporter, Nextgov

David DiMolfetta is a reporter for GovExec’s Nextgov/FCW covering U.S. federal cybersecurity and intelligence policy. His coverage focuses on how the U.S. government — including the White House, executive branch agencies, the intelligence community, and private sector government contractors — work to combat hacking threats from nation-state adversaries and cybercrime groups, as well as the legal, regulatory, and personnel challenges that present themselves along the way. Previously, he helped write the cybersecurity and technology policy newsletters at The Washington Post. Before that, he covered broadband and telecommunications policy for the news service housed in S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division. In college, David interned for S&P Global, Voice of America, and The Jerusalem Post. He holds a B.B.A. from The George Washington University and an M.S. from Georgetown University.
