Steven Heape, Project Development Lead, Carbon and Energy Fund (NHS)

Steven Heape CEng FIET FIHEEM is a Chartered Engineer and low-carbon infrastructure specialist working at the forefront of the UK’s energy transition. As part of the Carbon and Energy Fund team, he has contributed to the delivery of over £800 million of public-sector decarbonisation projects, including the UK’s first fully renewably heated hospital and the first deep-geothermal-heated NHS site. Steven combines technical expertise, commercial strategy and systems thinking to deliver scalable net-zero infrastructure and is Chair of the Sustainability Advisory Panel for IHEEM.

I have also put some thought to what might be insightful for your delegates and I think helping them understand the landscape and where thinking is moving in terms of leveraging solar power as an enabler to wider heat decarbonisation projects.
