Jason Howlett is the Founder and CEO of the Energy Storage Association (UK), the national trade body dedicated to representing the full energy storage value chain — from electrical batteries to thermal, hydro, and hydrogen storage. With over 20 years in senior roles within the renewable energy sector, Jason has led initiatives in biogas, hydro, battery manufacturing, and solar distribution, and now drives ESA's mission to accelerate innovation, investment, and policy reform across the sector.
