Dan is Head of Low Carbon for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, leading the team which will deliver carbon-neutrality by 2038 with partners from across the city-region. Main responsibilities include low carbon policy; domestic and non-domestic buildings retrofit; and integration of renewable energy, including development of heat networks. Dan has over 25 years experience covering sustainability, low carbon, and economic development at local, regional and national levels. An urban planner by training, he is a Chartered Environmentalist with the Society for the Environment.
