Andrew Aylesbury is Co-founder and Managing Director of Duku, an award-winning product design consultancy, and Duku EV, which develops innovative electric vehicle charging technology. With around 20 years’ experience in product design and commercialisation, Andrew has led the development of hundreds of products across the automotive, mobility, healthcare and consumer sectors. His work focuses on applying good design practice to complex technical challenges, balancing user needs, accessibility, engineering, manufacture, compliance and commercial viability from the outset. Through Duku EV, Andrew has helped develop a patented range of accessible cable-management and charging solutions for domestic, public, fleet and marine applications. He has also led numerous Innovate UK-funded programmes and works closely with manufacturers, infrastructure providers and industry partners to turn early-stage ideas into practical, scalable products.
