Copia Energy is a UK battery storage company for commercial and industrial sites. We don't just supply the battery. By building the business case, running the DNO application, installing it, and operating it with our own control system and virtual power plant platform, we make batteries easier, better value, and pay back faster.

Our range of all-in-one GridVault cabinet systems scale from a single unit to twenty or more, so they fit anything from a small office or depot to a large factory or logistics site, and even a data centre. The integrated Copia Core controller charges and discharges on flexible tariffs from our partners, makes the most of on-site solar, and trades spare capacity into flexibility and capacity markets. Our built-in transfer switch means the site gets instant backup too.

Many of our conversations start with a grid constraint. A site that wants EV charging, to electrify heating, or to operate more load, and has been quoted years (and tens or hundreds of thousands!) for a DNO upgrade. Storage gets them moving now.

We work directly with end users, and alongside installers and EPCs who want a storage offer without building the software themselves.
