Bryce Ostini, Junior School Teacher, Ascham

Bryce Ostini is a Junior School Teacher at Ascham School with a strong foundation in K-6 teaching and leading Indigenous Education initiatives. Passionate about empowering educators to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into everyday practice, Bryce focuses on creating meaningful and authentic ways for students and teachers to connect with culture. He is committed to supporting colleagues to become confident allies by integrating Indigenous content in ways that honour community knowledge and perspectives. In 2025, Bryce was selected as part of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) Next Gen program. At EDUtech 2026, Bryce will share his approach to active allyship in the classroom, offering practical strategies for engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content, building connections with local communities, and fostering strong partnerships with Elders. His work highlights the importance of embedding Indigenous perspectives not as an add-on, but as a vital and enriching part of student learning.
