Kamal Hingorani, Chief Customer Officer, SpiceJet

Kamal Hingorani is the Chief Customer Officer at SpiceJet, looking after Inflight Services, Customer Experience and all international relations, besides being the Appellate Authority.
In the last 20 years, since inception of SpiceJet, he has held leadership positions in roles ranging from Marketing, Operations (Airports, Inflight, Security), Customer Experience, Training, Strategy & Network Management, Policy, and Regulatory management. Kamal holds the additional responsibility as Board Member & Chief Officer at SpiceXpress, a Freighter subsidiary of SpiceJet Limited.
He also spearheads the role of Sustainability for the organization. With three-plus decades of experience in International Airlines, he has been on multiple Boards. He is a member of IATA’s Operations Advisory Council (OAC), an exclusive body of global airline CXOs. Kamal also serves as Deputy President of the SITA Council, Brussels. He is also Member of the Advisory Board — The ePlane Company, which is developing India’s 1st flying electric taxi. Through these roles, he works with industry peers to influence best practices, regulatory alignment, digital transformation, and sustainability initiatives worldwide.   Kamal is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration, Rushford Business School, Switzerland.
He is a Management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore and holds a Science Honors from Delhi University. He is passionate about Yoga and is also a trainer in this spiritual practice.
