Hiroshi Ito is a Manager at East Japan Railway Company, specializing in railway signalling systems and international railway projects. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in the maintenance of signalling systems across the Greater Tokyo Area, as well as in the development of integrated signalling systems. He has also contributed to international standardization efforts through his involvement in IEC activities. He has played a key role in several major projects, including serving as part of the team supporting the Indian high-speed rail project, where he provided expertise in signalling and bidding support. His work spans a wide range of technical domains regarding signalling systems, such as interlocking, track circuits, and level crossing devices, in addition to RAMS-related standards. His areas of expertise also include other IEC/JIS standards, and overseas railway projects, where he has contributed as an operation and maintenance consultant.
