Carol is a civil and railway engineer with 16 years’ experience in railway infrastructure and system design. She has been involved in a number of challenging railway projects, including heavy railway, metro and APM systems, in Hong Kong, Macau, the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
She has a wide range of experience related to railway engineering, covering system planning, permanent way design, maintenance facility planning, station planning and sizing and project coordination. She is specialised in system planning for medium capacity rail-based transit system and has a thorough understanding of the unique characteristics and constraints of different types of transit technology.
