Mohrah Alenazi is a specialist in pesticide residue analysis and chemical contaminants in food, with advanced expertise in analytical chemistry and food safety. She holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.
Her work centers on the detection and monitoring of pesticide residues and other food contaminants using advanced analytical technologies, including LC‑MS/MS, GC‑MS/MS, and HPLC. She has extensive experience in analytical method validation, laboratory quality systems, and regulatory testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of food safety monitoring programs.
Mohrah has contributed to scientific research in food safety and pesticide residue mitigation strategies, including published work on pesticide residue distribution in citrus fruits. Her research has been presented at international scientific conferences and recognized with the Outstanding Research Award at the SFDA Scientific Research Day.
