With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Diederik Kok has built a distinguished career spanning Emerging and European markets across both Human and Animal Health. Currently, Diederik leads Biogen’s operations in the Gulf region with full P&L responsibility for KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman.

His previous roles include Head of Business Operations for Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and CIS, and General Manager for Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Middle East at Zoetis. Earlier, Diederik spent 16 years at MSD (Merck in the USA) in senior commercial leadership positions across The Netherlands, Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, and CIS countries.

Diederik holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from Hotel School The Hague and a Master of Arts in Communication and Strategy from the University of Amsterdam.
