Kaushik Sridhar, Founder & CEO, ORKA Advisory

Dr. Kaushik Sridhar (FGIA, GAICD) is an experienced and purpose driven corporate sustainability 
leader with over 20 years’ experience developing and implementing sustainability and environmental, 
social and governance (ESG) programs, strategies, and initiatives focusing on improving business’ 
financial bottom line and contribution to society while reducing their environmental impacts.  
Formerly a professional tennis player, Dr. Kaushik Sridhar is the Founder of Orka Advisory, a 
boutique consultancy that partners with individuals and organisations locally and globally to develop 
and implement impactful sustainability and ESG projects. Kaushik advises organisations on 
sustainability strategies, sustainability reporting, net zero emissions, and human rights working closely 
with CEOs and senior executives.  

His previous industry experience includes working in senior sustainability roles at Evolution Mining, 
Regis Healthcare, KPMG, EY and Unisys where he has built and led multi-million-dollar and award
winning sustainability programs & strategies. Kaushik is also a strategic advisor, mentor and coach for 
various tech and startup companies around the world.  

In addition to his industry experience, Kaushik is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Oxford, 
University of Melbourne, RMIT University, Australian Institute of Business and Kaplan Business 
School where he delivers courses on Leadership, Governance and ESG for their MBA programs. 
Kaushik is widely published in Australian and international peer-reviewed journals. He has also 
presented at conferences and delivered 2 x TED Talks, in Australia, France, Germany, India, 
Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, Thailand and New Zealand.  

Kaushik holds a PhD and MBA from Macquarie Business School. His commitment to making an 
impact in the community as well as driving change within large businesses, universities and not-for
profit organisations has placed him in good stead with a wide range of stakeholders. His efforts have 
been recognised by various industry awards including being named ESG Impact Leader of the Year in 
2023, Finder Green Leader of the Year in 2022, ESG Thought Leader of the Year in 2021, named 
among the ‘40 Under 40 Influential Asian-Australians’, and also ranked #8 in Assent Compliance Top 
100 Global Corporate Social Responsibility Leaders.
