John has close to 25 years of legal experience with a focus on tax structuring, commercial advice and transactions, land and payroll tax as well as applications for rulings, objections and tax disputes for State and Federal tax. Working with business and individual clients, he and his team have a passion and enthusiasm for their work. When it comes to their clients, their aim is to be outcome-focused, working efficiently and commercially. John and his team work closely with accounting practices, providing a service that bridges the gap between accounting and the law on areas such as State tax exemptions, payroll tax de-grouping and retention of ABN restructures. John is respected within the industry for his expertise and has been elected as the Queensland representative, National Councillor for the Tax Institute.  His approach to working with clients is to “simplify the complex” so that they fully understand their matter and the steps needed to deliver successful outcomes.
