Anam Dhila, Global Head of Finance, upGrad

Anam Dhila is a senior finance leader, Chartered Accountant and CFA with 16 years of experience across finance, strategy, transformation and business operations. He is currently Global Head of Finance at upGrad Education - a global education and skilling company delivering higher education and professional learning programs in partnership with universities worldwide. His career spans education, technology, healthcare and financial services, with experience across Australia and international markets. He has led finance organisations through rapid growth, profitability improvement, M&A, governance transformation and operating-model change, with a strong focus on FP&A, commercial decision-making and execution. Anam is particularly interested in the changing role of Finance: moving beyond reporting the past to helping organisations make better decisions about what happens next. His work increasingly combines commercial judgement with AI, automation, forecasting and data-led decision support. A Chartered Accountant (ICAI), CFA Charterholder and INSEAD alumnus, Anam is also a regular speaker on finance leadership, strategy execution and AI in finance, including at the World Finance Forum and Future of Finance Summit.
