Stephanie Said is a licensed pharmacist with a doctorate in pharmacology and has comprehensive experience in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) of medicinal products. Since 2016, Stephanie Said has been working as a scientific advisor in the GBA's Pharmaceuticals Department focusing on medicinal products and during this time acquired extensive knowledge in advising Health Technology Developers on all aspects of study planning for HTA related issues as well as in the early benefit assessment  of medicinal products. Since 2016, Stephanie Said has been actively involved in joint HTA work at European level with leading functions for the project work on European advice procedures during EUnetHTA JA3 and EUnetHTA 21. Stephanie Said has been elected as Chair of the JSC subgroup under the Member State Coordination Group on HTA (HTACG) in 2023 and re-elected in 2026 and is in this function leading the work for Joint Scientific Consultations (JSC) under the HTA Regulation (EU) 2021/2282.
