Michelle Motta Dardeno is a seasoned biopharmaceutical executive with more than 25 years of leadership in Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Risk Management. She has built and led global safety organizations from the ground up, steering strategy, regulatory compliance, and patient safety across the entire drug development lifecycle — from clinical trials through commercialization. Michelle has served as Vice President and Global Patient Safety Head at Aurinia Pharmaceuticals, Clementia/Ipsen, Aegerion, and Merrimack, where she directed inspection readiness, corporate governance, and cross-functional safety integration in high-stakes environments including product launches, acquisitions, and regulatory audits. Her therapeutic expertise spans rare diseases, oncology, autoimmune disorders, endocrinology, and infertility.
Recognized as a trusted voice in the international drug safety community, Michelle is a frequent panelist at the World Drug Safety Congress and an active mentor in women’s leadership and STEM development. Beyond industry, she is deeply engaged in advocacy for hearing-impaired children and community leadership.
