How Lih Ren is the Chief Business Officer of U Mobile, Malaysia’s newest 5G network provider. He joined the company in October 2025, bringing over 27 years of leadership experience in telecommunications and consulting. Before joining U Mobile, he held senior leadership positions at True and DTAC in Thailand, as well as Digi in Malaysia. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade with Deloitte Consulting.  

At U Mobile, Lih Ren is responsible for developing and strengthening the company’s Enterprise Division, driving market expansion and business development across both private and public sectors. He also oversees U Mobile’s growth among large corporates, the mid-market, SMEs/SMIs, and government segments, leading the creation of tailored 5G-enabled and digital solutions that help enterprise clients thrive in today’s digital economy. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science from Coventry University and has completed the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School.
