ACUA Ocean is revolutionising maritime operations, delivering Robust, Reliable, Reconfigurable capability with Pioneer class USVs. With better seakeeping than a crewed 40m monohull vessel, able to operate in Sea state 7. Pioneer's modular payload capability, utilising standard 20ft or 10ft ISO containers, of 7,000kg providing a platform for a wide range of capabilities across ASW and seabed battlespace. 

USV Pioneer was the first USV to receive UK MCA Workboat code 3 certification. The SWATH hull form means that the vessel is highly stable enabling it to launch and recover payloads in sea state 6 whilst minimising the motion of the vessel.

Pioneer Class USVs are able to operate for over 50days at sea gathering data from. towed and surface mounted sensors or deploying a wide range of other robotic systems such as ROVs, ROTVs, UAVs and AUVs.
