David Fassbender is an executive director and a portfolio manager at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Singapore, David is responsible for our value add Asia-Pacific closed end fund series. David is a member of the Asia Pacific Investment Committee. David Fassbender joined PGIM Real Estate in 2002 in its closed-end US fund business. He subsequently worked in the portfolio management of a German open-ended fund, where he was responsible for North America and Asia. In 2007 he joined Asia Property Fund II (ASPF II) as portfolio manager responsible for the strategic development of the portfolio and investor communications. Since 2011 David is based in Singapore where he is responsible for our value add Asia-Pacific closed end fund series with a particular focus on transaction and asset management related activities. David holds a M.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge, England and a certificate in real estate portfolio management from the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel. He is fluent in German and English.
