After completing his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart, Mario Winkler started as a software developer in the R&D department of Vector Informatik GmbH, which offers embedded software components as well as software tools and hardware for the efficient development and testing of embedded software. Since 2023, Mario Winkler has been supporting customers in the implementation of simulations and software and hardware-in-the-loop testing with the Vector tool CANoe. In addition, Mario Winkler and his team work on the continuous expansion of the communication protocols supported by CANoe to provide a comprehensive analysis, test and simulation environment for the efficient development of a wide variety of products. In this context, Mario Winkler is the project leader for the implementation of the SCI/RaSTA and TRDP protocols, which are used in railway signaling and in trains, respectively.
