What are the opening hours?
Day 1:
Wednesday 29th November 2023 - 09:00 - 18:00
Day 2:
Thursday 30th November 2023 - 09:00 - 18:00
Day 3:
Friday 1st December 2023 - 9:00 - 16:00
*Registration will be open every day from 9:00
Having trouble registering?
- Ensure you are using a unique email address which hasn't been used to register already
- Speakers should already be automatically registered by a Rail Live team member
- The registration process should only take a couple minutes, if you have a large team then we strongly advise you forwarding them the link to register themselves
Where do I get my badge to enter the show?
Your badge will be emailed to you. Please print this out and bring the A4 print out to the show. We are expecting 7,000 attendees, so please print out your badge to avoid long wait times to get into the show.
Exhibitors badge collection
Sponsors and exhibitors will also receive their badge to print out prior to the show. We strongly advise everyone to print their badges and bring to the event. If you are unable to, then please ask one of our colleagues to print out your badge on 28th November during build day between 10:00 - 20:00.
Do I need to supply my own PPE?
All exhibitors are responsible for supplying their own PPE (Hi Vis jacket and Safety shoes)and this MUST be worn during set up and breakdown.
What is Swapcard?
Swapcard is our official event platform app.
It has already turned live for all exhibitors and will turn live on the 15th November for all other attendees.

Once you have received your details, you must download the app and login as you will need it for several reasons:
- View the full attendee list
- View all exhibitors
- Make connections and network with other attendees by requesting meetings
- As there will be no paper agendas at the event, you can view it on the app; build your own personalised agenda by marking the sessions you are interested in. Please note, you cannot attend the event or dial into any sessions virtually through the app. You will need to attend the event physically to participate in sessions.
Can I request meetings with media and other attendees?
You can connect and request meetings with press and all other attendees when the Swapcard app goes live.

The Rail Live show will take place 29-30 November and 1 December, IFEMA Madrid, Hall 4

How do I get there?
Car
IFEMA Madrid has road connections to Madrid's main access and ring roads: M11 (exits 5 and 7); M40 (exits 5, 6 and 7); A2 (exit 7)
With over 16,500 spaces available you won’t need to search for a spot.
Public Transport
The nearest Metro Station to IFEMA is Línea 8: Feria de Madrid - Aeropuerto T4 (The exit is opposite IFEMA Madrid's south entrance). This line connects the venue to the different terminals of Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez airport.

Will there be security at the event?
We take the safety of our visitors very seriously and there will be security present at many points at the venue. You must always have a badge on you to be at the event.
Is there a dress code?
Our attendees typically dress in business attire at our events.
Will there be a cloak room?
Yes, a cloak room will be available on site and you will be able to pay by card or cash.
Will there be food?
There will be food and beverages available to purchase.
Is there WiFi at the venue?
Yes, IFEMA provides free WiFi to all attendees.
