Dr. Mudit Saxena is the Chief Operating Officer at HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd. (HCG) Bengaluru, Karnataka, India 

A highly accomplished professional with MHA and post graduation from IIM-B having over 16 years of  leadership roles in Public, Trust and Corporate Sector Healthcare units with expertise in Heading Operations of Healthcare Business Units, Projects, Strategic Initiatives, Technology Management and Hospital Planning.

Dr. Mudit Saxena graduated from SMS Medical College, Jaipur after which he served the Govt. of Rajasthan; INDIA. He completed his MHA from ASCI, Hyderabad and was instrumental in establishing and operationalizing the first Private Medical College and Hospital of State of Rajasthan – Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and Medical College – a turnkey project.

He went on to serve as Head of Operations at Wockhardt Hospitals, Bangalore and then headed the prestigious Cunningham Road Hospital of Fortis Group at Bangalore. Meanwhile he completed his management programme at IIM Bangalore and took over as Program Director at the flagship hospital of Fortis – FMRI , Gurgaon.

He is currently associated with HCG Enterprises Ltd as Chief Operating Officer (COO) where he not only manages Operations for key hospitals of HCG Group but he is also involved in identifying new opportunities and tie ups. HCG is an established name in the field of oncology and has revolutionized cancer care in India by launching the world class Cancer Care modalities (like CyberKnife, Bone Marrow Transplant) at affordable pricing.

Dr. Mudit Saxena has keen insights in Indian Healthcare and has focused on Non –Oncology areas too. In May’13, HCG launched their HCG Hospitals - Multispecialty Hospital chain in Bangalore

During his career Dr. Saxena has been awarded Certification in Health Finance and Management from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, U.S.A. and participated in the Management Programme at Singapore Management University.

He has also been a keen academician. He has over 10 publications and more than twenty students who have successfully completed their thesis under his guidance. He has been a faculty at IGNOU and IHMR, Jaipur. He has developed in-house Management Programmes for HCG and is currently involved in partnering with a leading MBA school of Bangalore for developing their Healthcare Management Programme.
