Joe Hau helms the operations of the surgical division as well as the non-subsidised services at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Prior to his role at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Joe was heading the operations and administration of the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), the University Surgical Cluster and the University Dental Cluster in areas of clinical care, education and research at National University Hospital. Joe has more than 15 years of experience in management, operations and administration with a track record in analysing and streamlining organisation processes to maximise productivity, quality, and efficiency.
 
A graduate of Ottawa University with executive education at Harvard Business School, Joe is also a recipient of a number of awards including National Day Award, and Commendation for Outstanding Performance and Achievement from government ministries.
