Annie Chen is the Director of Medical Administrative Office of Taipei Hospital and Executive Secretary of Taiwan International Healthcare Training Center. She received her master degree in Health Policy and Management at National Taiwan University. She is in charges of the medical record management, health insurance declaration and medical staffs training project from allied countries.

During the past twenty years, she has received many prizes such as:

1. Improvement the process of emergency patient medical treatment－Service Quality Award of Executive Yuan

2. Evaluation of the Taipei Hospital Integrated Care System－International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua)

3. Certified by EMR ISMS ISO27001 / ISO9001

4. Taiwan International Healthcare Training Center and Taipei Hospital－Bronze Award of National Biotechnology and Medical Care Quality Award

As Annie Chen has devoted her professional life to the field of medical record management, she endeavored to develop the hospital EMR system and established the basic infrastructures in recent years. Nowadays, Taipei Hospital plays a significant and leading role in twenty-six public hospital of Ministry of Health and Welfare.

In order to improve the quality of the healthcare, she has more than 10 years experience in providing crucial knowledge and practical experience for medical staffs from allied countries, and also specialized in medical cooperation and exchanges with foreign hospitals. Since 2003, Taipei Hospital has trained more than 1000 medical staffs from 50 countries successfully.
