Mauro Moliterno is a Formulation, Process Development and Scale-Up Supervisor, leading a team of scientists in the Development Laboratory of BSP Pharmaceuticals. He holds a doctoral degree in Chemical Sciences.
Its work focuses on the development, optimization and rational scale-up of manufacturing processes for biologics (mainly ADCs), high potent small molecules, both in injectable and oral dosage form, and complex drugs, such as liposomes and lipid nanoparticles. He has a strong knowledge on the lyophilization of biologics, having worked on the transfer and optimization of numerous processes, developing techniques for the mathematical modeling, freeze dryers characterization and rational scale-up of lyophilization cycles.
Mauro is also skilled in problem solving through Lean Six Sigma approach, holding a Green Belt certification.
