Gian Luca Petrelli is the founder and CEO of Zero Gravity Works, a Milan-based start-up developing a platform for the crystallisation of small-molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients in microgravity. Incubated at ESA BIC, ZGW works with a network of Italian universities on solid-state chemistry and payload engineering. Gian Luca is a serial tech entrepreneur and business innovation advisor with 20+ years of experience founding, scaling and advising ventures across SaaS, frontier tech and deep science. For his previous venture he raised €25m, ran operations in 26 countries and earned recognition from Fortune, Forbes, EY and TechCrunch.
