Dr. Esteban Pombo-Villar has more than 35 years of experience in biopharmaceutical R&D and business development. He is Managing Director of PomBio Consulting GmbH, advising biotech companies on the preclinical and CMC development of antibody-drug conjugates and immunotherapies, and serves on the Board of TargImmune Therapeutics AG, a Swiss affiliate of iOncologi Inc., where he was previously Chief Technology Officer and CEO. As Chief Operations Officer of Oxford BioTherapeutics he oversaw CMC and other aspects of ADC developement.  . Before that he spent over 23 years at Sandoz and Novartis, first in neuroscience medicinal chemistry and later as Head of Alliance Management at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. He holds a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Warwick, completed postdoctoral studies at ETH Zurich, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
