Martijn van Gerven is a Research Lead of the AMR Programme at the Access to Medicine Foundation. At the Access to Medicine Foundation, we work every day to change how essential healthcare companies bring their medicines to people in low- and middle-income countries. The AMR programme includes the AMR Benchmark, which compares what pharmaceutical companies are doing to bring AMR under control, and highlights where good ideas are being implemented to encourage their wider uptake. This research covers the areas of responsible manufacturing, research and development, and appropriate access and stewardship.
