David Bailey, Head of Events and Brand Engagement, Police Digital Service

David Bailey has spent nearly 30 years shaping how policing engages with the public, partners, and its own people. Beginning his career with Staffordshire Police, he has worked across community policing, major crime, and counter-terrorism communications. Nationally, David led the NPCC Social Media Project, drove public messaging during the Covid-19 response, and delivered communications for the National Enabling Programme, introducing Microsoft 365 across policing. Now at the Police Digital Service, he leads strategic communications and events. David is recognised internationally for advancing modern, digitally driven engagement in policing.
