Alexander Iosad, Government Innovation Policy Expert, Independent

Dr Alexander Iosad is a globally-recognised expert on public-service and government reform in the age of AI, advising political leaders around the world on how they can harness artificial intelligence and other technologies to improve public services and deliver for their citizens. He has deep prior expertise in education policy and technology, with a track record of collaboration with ministers in Africa and Europe, sector bodies, development banks, and international agencies. Most recently, Alexander was director of government innovation policy at the Tony Blair Institute. Prior to TBI, Alexander worked in venture capital as well as public sector and innovation consulting. He also holds a DPhil in history from the University of Oxford, where he studied how novel state-sponsored institutions create the cultural conditions for wider acceptance of science and progress.
