Cole Raines serves as the Executive Director of One Harlan County, spearheading the organization's mission to drive economic diversification within the region. With a focus on fostering investment and generating employment opportunities, Cole plays a central role in steering Harlan County towards a more vibrant and sustainable future. Currently, he oversees a portfolio of $4 million in grant funding, strategically allocated across a spectrum of projects ranging from broadband infrastructure to industrial development initiatives. Cole is a graduate of Harvard College where he concentrated in Government with a focus on public policy and completed a secondary in Economics. Driven by a passion for effecting positive change, Cole is deeply committed to leveraging his expertise and resources to uplift Harlan County and empower its residents. Through collaborative efforts and innovative strategies, he endeavors to cultivate an environment ripe for prosperity and opportunity, ensuring a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.
