Phylo is an applied research lab dedicated to studying AI to accelerate discoveries for every biomedical scientist. Its flagship product, Biomni Lab, is the first Integrated Biology Environment (IBE): a unified workspace where biologists collaborate with agents to get more done, with rigor, and at scale.

Biomni Lab supports work from early discovery through clinical development, spanning discovery biology, human genetics, medicinal chemistry, protein sciences, preclinical safety and DMPK, and clinical development. It is model-agnostic, routing each task to the best-fit model; reproducible, with 100+ pre-built agentic workflows and deterministic pipelines; and private by design, deployable within a customer's own VPC and never used to train models.

Biomni Lab is used by scientists at leading pharma, biotech, and academic organizations. Phylo's funding was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Menlo Ventures' Anthology Fund, an AI innovation fund created in partnership with Anthropic, with participation from Zetta, Conviction, and SV Angel.
