Steffen Vogler (he/him) is a Principal Imaging Technology Scientist at Bayer Radiology-R&D. Since 2017 he is leading research and product development on AI in medical computer vision in both radiology and digital pathology domain. Equipped with a wide range of project experience he later joined his current team "Imaging and Platform Services" as Data Science Lead inside Radiology-R&D (Link). Outside of Bayer Steffen has been delivery lead for a feasibility study of an WHO-owned validation platform for AI applications in healthcare. Further, he is active member of a cross-platform ML dataset standard (Croissant; part of the MLCommons). His interest is in data-centric AI, ethical AI and health equity. Related to this he has been one of the curators of the discovery track “Data-centric Machine Learning for Good” at “AI for Good”.
