Stefania earned her PhD in Physics at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN), focusing on advanced research in fundamental particle physics. She contributed to space exploration projects such as AMS-02, aboard the International Space Station, and DAMPE, a satellite orbiting Earth since 2015 to detect dark matter. Driven by the desire to contribute more directly to human health, Stefania transitioned her expertise to the medical field. She began at a MedTech startup developing machine learning models for predicting antibiotic resistance, and she currently is a Senior Data Scientist at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, pioneering solutions in healthcare analytics and innovation.
