He is less interested in “yet another siloed platform implementation” and more focused on building data ecosystems that scientists actually trust, use and most importantly, innovate with. Raghu blends modeling, ontology governance, and FAIR data thinking into pragmatic architectures, whether data mesh, fabric, or knowledge graphs - always anchored in real lab workflows.
Known for bridging executive vision with ground-floor execution, he has shaped programs that range from AI-ready data foundations to domain-specific data products from discovery through development. Raghu's work challenges the traditional IT–science divide, reframing data not as infrastructure, but as the operating system for R&D.
