Jim Wu, M.D., MBA, is the Founder & CEO of SaniMed Science Group, a U.S.-based life science investment and commercialization firm focused on Biotech, MedTech, TechBio, and AI-enabled healthcare.  With more than 30 years of professional experience across China and the United States, Jim brings together medical training, investment experience, international business development, and cross-border commercialization. His work focuses on evaluating early-stage life science opportunities, strategic and syndicate investment, licensing, cross-border NewCo formation, FDA/NMPA strategy, preclinical and clinical development, and global market entry. Jim holds an M.D. from Peking University Health Science Center and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has also completed executive education in Artificial Intelligence in Pharma and Biotech at MIT Sloan and the Founder Institute HealthTech program. He is currently leading the development of an AI-powered life science startup evaluation and decision-support platform designed to integrate scientific, clinical, regulatory, market, financial, and commercial evidence to improve early-stage investment screening, due diligence, and investment decision-making.
