Erik holds a PhD in Molecular Biotechnology from The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, focusing on intracellular applications of alternative scaffold proteins. After a postdoc at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (NNF CPR), Erik joined Novo Nordisk as Scientist specializing in difficult-to-produce proteins and HTP data management. Since then he has held various positions in the company´s reseach organization, incl heading up Protein Engineering / Discovery Biologics at Novo Nordisk Seattle, WA. He has also been a program lead for major AI/ML collaborations with external partners (Microsoft, Nobel Prize Laureate Prof David Baker, etc). In his current role as VP of Sci Data Registration, he is engaging deeply in the development of lab workflow and data registration solutions.
