Calvin holds a PhD in biosciences in bioinformatics from Heidelberg University (Heidelberg, Germany), a Master of Applied Science in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering from Queen's University (Kingston, Canada) and Bachelor of Computer Engineering from McMaster University (Hamilton, Canada) and a Diploma in Fine Arts from Hong Kong Art School (Hong Kong, China). Calvin has worked in the data science field for 14 years with various experiences in academia, consulting, and pharmaceutical industry. Calvin is the product manager of medical affairs analytics, his main responsibilty is to drive the AI/ML/NLP capabilities for the global medical affairs team across pharm and diagnostics division and developing an analytics product strategy to support the strong demands of AI and data science. Prior to joining Roche, Calvin worked for Bayer Pharmaceutical as the global commercial data science lead, providing support to the oncology commercial deriving new data science and analytics innovations.  My favourite …
