As the product manager of medical affairs analytics Calvin drives innovation in the AI/ML/NLP for the global medical affairs function across the pharm and diagnostics division of Roche.  Calvin is responsible for developing analytics product strategy to support the strong demands of AI and data science.

Calvin holds a PhD in biosciences in bioinformatics from Heidelberg University (Heidelberg, Germany), a Master of Applied Science in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering from Queen's University (Kingston, Canada) and Bachelor of Computer Engineering from McMaster University (Hamilton, Canada) and a Diploma in Fine Arts from Hong Kong Art School (Hong Kong, China). Calvin has worked in the data science field for 15 years with various experiences in academia, consulting, and pharmaceutical industry.
