TriloDocs is an AI-enhanced medical writing solution built specifically for professional medical writers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CRO sectors. Founded in 2023, TriloDocs combines decades of regulatory medical writing expertise - including that of Dr. Barry Drees, former EMWA President - with a fundamentally different approach to AI: clinical findings are established deterministically and traceably before generative AI is used to apply appropriate interpretation and express them.

TriloDocs currently supports Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), lay summaries, informed consent forms (ICFs), and patient safety narratives, with Investigator's Brochures (IBs) and Module 2 clinical summaries in development.

At its core, TriloDocs uses symbolic, rule-based clinical reasoning designed by experienced medical writers to process source datas and establish clinically relevant findings consistently and traceably, with provenance maintained back to the source. The model isn't deciding the science - it's expressing and expanding on findings that have already been established.

Alongside this deterministic foundation, TriloDocs now includes an agentic layer that investigates before it writes. Specialised medical writing agents work across established findings to explore relationships between results, consider potential explanations and confounders, reconcile evidence across tables, and recognise when the evidence is insufficient to support a conclusion. Medical writers can review both the suggested language and the investigative process behind it.

This approach is designed for the realities of regulated medical writing, where generating text quickly is only part of the challenge. What matters is producing output that writers and reviewers can verify, trace and confidently stand behind.

By reducing repetitive, data-intensive work and the downstream verification burden, TriloDocs gives medical writers more time for the work where their expertise matters most: clinical interpretation, scientific judgement, clear communication and strategic thinking.
