Founded in 1995, SwAPP (Swiss Association of Pharmaceutical Professionals) emerged from a shared ambition among leading experts to address the need for high-quality scientific training supporting specialists in the field. From the outset, the vision of SwAPP was to enhance the quality of specialised education, helping professionals stay up to date and ensure the compliance of therapeutic products for the safety and benefit of patients.

Over the years, the association has grown into a recognised partner within the Swiss healthcare ecosystem, and SwAPP events have quickly become well-established reference points. Today, SwAPP continues to be a key actor within the Swiss ecosystem, supporting the continuous professional development and career growth of its members. By increasing and diversifying its activities, SwAPP is expanding steadily, bringing together a growing community of professionals from Pharma, Biotech & Medtech companies, contract research organisations, consulting and service providers, academia, healthcare institutions, health or other competent authorities, ethics committees and any other related entity.
