Ken Sain is the Chief Executive Officer of Panasonic Avionics Corporation, the global leader in in-flight engagement and connectivity solutions. Ken leads all aspects of the business with a clear mission: to strengthen trust with customers by deeply understanding their needs and delivering world-class innovations that make airlines more competitive, differentiated, and valuable. With more than 30 years of global leadership experience, including working across cultures and business practices in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, Ken brings a proven track record of driving customer-focused growth while respecting and adapting to diverse business environments. His leadership style reflects a strong alignment with Japanese values—emphasizing long-term relationships, continuous improvement, team harmony and perseverance. Since joining Panasonic Avionics in 2019, Ken has built a high-performing team that successfully navigated the challenges of the global pandemic, revitalized the company’s product portfolio, and introduced agile, customer-driven operations. Under his leadership, the company designed, manufactured, and delivered the cutting-edge Astrova IFE system—widely recognized as the most successful product launch in the company’s history. Before joining Panasonic, Ken held senior executive roles at Boeing, including Vice President of Digital Solutions and Analytics for Boeing Global Services and CEO of Boeing subsidiary Jeppesen. In both roles, he drove significant growth in customer-facing digital solutions by leveraging agile software development to launch new products and cloud-based solutions for customers around the world. Ken holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University.
