John Taylor Garner is the Founder and CEO of Odynn, an AI-powered platform that helps fintechs, banks, card issuers, and travel companies launch embedded travel, loyalty, and rewards programs. Often called the “Shopify for loyalty and travel,” Odynn solves key challenges in traditional programs, such as limited customization and low engagement, by offering modular, white-label solutions with embedded financial features. Its APIs help partners boost engagement, increase card spend, reduce churn, and unlock new revenue streams. Before founding Odynn, John spent over five years as a volatility trader at Merrill Lynch, where he managed the international macro cross-asset volatility book. He left Wall Street to pursue his passion for rewards and building smarter, more accessible systems. He also created the award-winning Card Curator algorithm, which helps users optimize everyday spending and earn over $4,000 annually in rewards. John has been featured in The Nilson Report, CNN Underscored, Wired, U.S. News & World Report, Insider, CNET, and more. He serves as a Forbes Advisor Board Member. He holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School.
