Fernando Rocha is a senior technology executive with more than 30 years of global experience in Information Technology, digital strategy, and large-scale business transformation. He has led complex IT organizations across multiple geographies, combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to drive enterprise modernization, innovation, and enterprise value creation. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of IT and Chief Information Officer at Aeroméxico, where he leads the airline’s end-to-end technology strategy. His mandate focuses on modernizing core platforms, accelerating cloud transformation, strengthening cybersecurity, and elevating the digital customer experience. Under his leadership, IT is a strategic enabler of operational efficiency, commercial growth, and enterprise resilience. Looking ahead, Fernando is driving a multi-year transformation centered on enterprise data strategy and advanced AI capabilities. This includes building scalable data platforms, enhancing governance and data quality, expanding advanced analytics, and embedding artificial intelligence across customer, operational, and commercial domains to improve decision-making, personalization, predictive operations, and cost optimization. Prior to joining Aeroméxico, Fernando held senior leadership roles in global organizations: • Unilever – Over a 20-year career, he held multiple leadership positions, culminating as Head of IT Mexico. He co-led the SAP implementation across Latin America and led the creation of a harmonized enterprise data lake supporting regional operations. • Vale – As Vice President of IT at the world’s largest iron ore producer, he led IT through mergers and acquisitions and developed the company’s Business Intelligence and Analytics strategy. • The Hershey Company – As Senior Director of IT for the Commercial organization, he delivered key platforms including Salesforce.com and SAP Trade Promotion Management, strengthening commercial capabilities and revenue management. Fernando holds a degree in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica, University of São Paulo (Brazil), and completed a specialization in Digital Business Strategy at MIT (USA).
