Bettina Ganghofer, Managing Director And Chief Executive Officer, Salzburg Airport

Bettina Ganghofer has been the Managing Director (CEO) of Salzburg Airport since October 2017. Before moving to Salzburg, she held different positions in the Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG, a company group including the airports Leipzig/Halle (LEJ) and Dresden (DRS) as well as the ground handling company PortGround GmbH. During those eight years there, Bettina Ganghofer held positions as Managing Director of PortGround GmbH, as Managing Director / CEO of Dresden Airport and finally became Representative of the Board of Management for Cargo and Logistics for the entire business group.

Prior to joining the Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG, Bettina Ganghofer was appointed to the top Management Board of PACTL (Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd), a Shanghai (PRC) based Sino-German joint venture of Shanghai Airport group, Lufthansa Cargo AG and a Chinese logistics provider for air cargo terminal operations. Her responsibilities covered marketing & sales, quality management, IT and operations.

After her education as an air traffic management assistant, she gained extensive management experience in the fields of marketing/sales, controlling, costmanagement and strategic projects as well as international general management within the Lufthansa Group.

In 2007 Bettina Ganghofer finished her studies with a Master of Art in Practicing Management at the University of Lancaster.

Bettina Ganghofer lives in Salzburg, is married and a mother of two grown children.
